Having first received the gift of life in Christ, we invite our community to reorient their lives around four essential rhythms of robust worship, true formation, healthy community, and incarnational mission. Here are three pathways designed to help facilitate true formation.

Relational Discipleship | 1-3 people

Relational Discipleship (RD) is a 10-week curriculum written by Advent’s founding pastor Rob Paris. It is a road designed to be traveled with a companion or two; a relational journey towards a more abundant life in Christ.

Gospel Friendship | 3-5 People

Gospel Friendship Groups are typically made up of 3-5 people who agree to a more intimate and intentional sharing of life in Christ together. In these groups, we share in each other’s joys, sorrows, hopes, and fears—seeking to listen for, and point each other to, the voice of Jesus. If you want a curriculum to help you jump in, you can also walk through Relational Discipleship together.

Summer Studies | 10+

During the summer, our Life Groups break for the season in order to create space for targeted formation through our Summer Studies. Typically, we offer three classes. One of them is always The Anglican Way. The others rotate. Past subjects have included formation in prayer, parenting, intercultural competency, and spiritual gifts.
