Chanted Evening Prayer

What is chanted evening prayer you might ask? A good question. For centuries, prayers were often chanted to help the largely illiterate congregants remember them and follow along. Today, the practice is less common and can be a refreshing way to engage with the liturgy of evening prayer. Don’t worry if you aren’t musically inclined! Matt and Chandler will guide everyone through the service.

Miles for Moms Run

The annual Miles for Mom's Run with the Florence Crittenton Center is coming up in October.
Per last year Kyle Nardi will be raising money to race in costume.  The theme this year is "Go Bananas!". 
If running is not your thing, you can also volunteer to man a drink/snack station on the course. Contact Abby Dorn to join the runner support team.

Sexuality and Parenting Intensive

Join us as Jordan and Jennie Kologe lead us through an 8 episode video course from Christian Sexuality: The Center for Faith, Sexuality and Gender.  The course will run over Friday evening (6:00pm - 8:30pm) and all day Saturday (8:30am - 3:00pm).

  • plan to contribute to a potluck lunch on Saturday.

  • Location is TBD but will be hosted at or near the church. 

  • Childcare is not currently guaranteed but please register your interest when you sign up.  The information will help us make a decision about what options we can offer.
