Abby

Abby loves spending time with the Kids of Advent, supporting and nurturing them as they grow and develop in their knowledge and love of the Lord and helping them build community among themselves. She has worked in the Children’s Ministry at Advent for several years, both as an assistant and as the director. Her other vocation is as a speech/language therapist for children, working in the schools for many years, and now doing home therapy. She often ponders and appreciates the connection between our need for human communication with each other, and God’s deep desire to communicate with us. She is married to Patrick, and they have two grown children who live hither and yon with their spouses. They are thrilled to be welcoming their first grandbaby in 2027!
